Compliance with data protection law is a high priority for the Regios energy cooperative.
Below we inform you about how we handle your data in accordance with Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data we require:
Usage data
When you visit our websites, so-called usage data is temporarily stored on our web server as a log for statistical purposes, in order to improve the quality of our websites. This data set consists of
the page from which the file was requested,
the name of the file,
the date and time of the request,
the amount of data transferred,
the access status (file transferred, file not found),
a description of the type of web browser used,
the IP address of the requesting computer, shortened by the last three digits.
The log data mentioned is stored in anonymised form only.
Data transfer to third parties
We transfer your data, within the scope of processing on our behalf pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, to service providers who support us in operating our websites and the related processes. Our service providers are strictly bound by our instructions and contractually obliged accordingly.
Cookies
We use cookies on our websites. Cookies are small text files that can be stored and read on your device. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which are stored beyond the individual session. Cookies may contain data that makes it possible to recognise the device used. In some cases, however, cookies only contain information about certain settings that cannot be linked to a person. We use session cookies and permanent cookies on our websites. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR and in the interest of optimising and enabling user guidance and adapting the presentation of our website. Anonymous visitor measurement
We carry out anonymous visitor measurement on our websites. For this purpose, the web server's log data and the shortened IP address are analysed. No conclusions about your identity are possible.
Contact form
You have the option of contacting us via a web form. To use our contact form, we require your email address and your telephone number. You may provide further details, but are not obliged to. By sending this form you consent to the data you have provided being recorded and stored electronically. The legal basis for processing is therefore Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR (consent). We use your data exclusively to process your enquiry.
Your data protection rights
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of the processing of your data. If you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully, you can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
